I support the troops because they are human beings, just like you and me. Accept, maybe a little bit better than us here on the home front.
Seriously. They are risking their lives for those who protest them. It, in all honesty, disgusts me (pardon, if I offended anyone).
Before the war they were many things. They could have been newly graduated from highschool, or college. They could have been a father, a husband, a friend. They could have been a teacher, or a scientist, a man who holds his religious beliefs (whatever the belief) close to his heart.
Does the newly acquired title "soldier" suddenly make him a bad man that we should shun?
Do you even know what a war is? I think you should watch more war documentaries (any war, from your nation or international or whatever), whether you are pro or not, to find out. Focus on the soldier, and how SCARED he looks. Recall what he is fighting for. He is fighting for you. For those he wants to keep safe from a potential threat (or what he thinks is at least). Maybe he has a little boy or a little girl at home and wants him or her to grow up in what he deems as a "safer world".
If the soldier is in fact fighting just to kill, he's fighting for himself and not for you. Not very thoughtful, but recall that there are always "bad eggs" where ever you go. The majority fight for their nation.

As for my personal opinion on the war: I do not support war. I do not like violence, even if it is considered "positive violence".
Yet, these men and women are people, and they need us. so, I support them. Why would I want them to be stranded far away from their family?

Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.
Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
